Anyone on the same boat? Let's share information and thoughts here.

I attended Shanghai MBA Tour yesterday and talked to representatives from 3 schools I am going to apply, Michignan, Tuck and Yale. I found out the tour kind of thing is not as informative as I thought. It's mainly for those who don't have much knowledge of the specific school.

Anyway, I am based in Shanghai and would like to share every step on the application road with you guys. Cheers!

Hi, Zhangi. Have you already submitted application for R1? You mentioned you attended MBA tour in Shanghai. Did you get chance talk to Anne? And how was your impression to Yale's alumni? Did you ask them what if our Chinese applicants can't go to campus to conduct the interview?

I talked with the two admissions lady at the forum, Clara and Anne(?). However, they were busy sending brochures out, so I couldn't go detail. They seem nice and responsive. I inquired about the interview process and was told interviews are by invitation only (for sure) and will be conducted in person, whether by an admissions member or an alumnus. As I was more focused on Tuck and Michigan during the tour, I didn't wait beside the 2 Yale alumni. They were popular. Maybe I should have. So can anybody share their email address or contact information here?

I'm in Canada now. Still thinking of whether I should send Yale another $180. I met Anne in Toronto's MBA tour. She seemed indifferent to my question about why Yale only requires one essay this year, comparing to last year's 5 essays.

But should you include the funding certificate into your package? If so, it is hard to get now and i have to drop it.

Yale好像要求申请的时候提供资金证明啊，可是在申请表格中好像没有financial statement，？

有的。属于需要用纸张形式寄去的材料之一。

在线申请上面也有一个资金证明的咚咚，偶一直不知道怎么填，偶根本没有那么多钱。
倘如录取了，也许亲戚朋友会支援，加上贷款就可以了。现在偶怎么知道要贷多少钱，又怎么知道能够贷到多少钱。头疼，头痛。难道不能录取了之后再商量这些问题么？偶还没有递交申请呢。且等着看今年耶鲁的申请人拿到interview的多不多，如果不多就表示太难，偶遇到难的问题，总是要多考虑考虑退路的。
