The most strong concentration will be marketing, but it will definitely conflict with the job arrangement for the Master of Luxury Brand Management. And I believe it will be much more difficult for more than 200 MBAs to find a good job than 38 masters in luxury brand management. Furthermore, luxury industry is a small segment in marketing. This segment is only fit for people who have experience in this industry before or at least know this industry. Otherwise, you may find yourself stuck in the middle. Personally I will support the idea that the younger students with less working experience should go for Master in detail major rather than study MBA blindly, no matter how high GMAT he or she got. Please, DO CONSIDER why you apply for MBA and whether SDA Bocconi or any other MBA will fit for your needs!!!!!! I am afraid I can't quite agree with you. As far as I know from two of the SDA Bocconi's alumni, the MBA program is highly international, with nearly half of students from 30 countries. And the most strong part of SDA Bocconi's MBA is finance rather than marketing. It is even quite renowned with banks in London. For the master in luxury, I agree that you must have such a fashion background before you go to this program, otherwise you will find it difficult for you to get into this industry after graduation as it is said to be the most closed field in Italy. While MBA can provide you an overall training of business skills and the post MBA choices are more. So think about it. |
