还有啊，it seems everything is about IS, how does it relate to Marketing phd? i dont really understand......

and actually why do you want to do marketing? i think IS phd is easier than marketing in terms of the application for foriegners.  and it's easier for foreigners to do IS than marketing which requires a lot understanding about the local martket/country (and quite demanding on language of course)...

Thanks very much! Your analysis sounds great. My incentive for marketing PhD originates from the marketing related research. I did not have a full consideration but applied for the PhD. As you have told me, I need more time and experiences to learn what my SWOT is and then decided whether a PhD or sth else is fit for me.

I now realized we have to find the best program or even life style that suits ourselves best. However, sometimes it risked the time and energy to find. But it is worth, casue that is the life we have chosen.
