我觉得你没理解我的意思吧？我是说你在第一次发言的时候，随口八卦到别人的私人生活问题，而这跟你、跟大家、跟申请学校什么都没有干系，也绝对不适合拿到公开场合来传播。

而且我真看不出招人多少和这事的发生有什么关系。除非你的前提是绝大多数人都是不遵守honor code的，那么把守规矩的人招完了，就只能招不守规矩的人了？我可不认为是这样。

There's a best school for everyone, one that fits the needs of the individual.  It's not for you to judge.

It is admirable for the school to strive to improve and for the students to pursue what they believe in.  It's not for you to criticize.

To be respectful of others, grateful of their kind geastures, and humble of your ignorance, is not for you to understand.

没看出来您前后的发言有什么逻辑联系，虽然我是善于跳跃性思维的“文科生”。

丑闻归丑闻，学校能有胆识去冒着声誉暂时受害的危险，把事情公诸于众，表明了其与有违伦理行为的划清界限，还是很具名校风范的。至于Duke是否top notch，好象还真不能听您一个人的。
