As far as I know about this program, wustl courses are very practical, though tough. Because the class size is small (around 30 students this year), each student can get more attention and care from faculties and career service. For job seeking, it's hard for MSF international students to locate a good job in US, no matter it's WUSTL, Vandy or BC (only Princeton MSF can garantee some good placements). Say, if you can't find a job in US, back to HK or Mainland China, Wustl has definately better overall reputation than Vandy. Regarding to safety of St. Louis, most places in US are not good. LA, DC, NY..all these cities are dangerous. Just avoid those neighborhoods and don't go out at night, it will be ok. Plus, WUSTL locates in the western part of St. Louis, much better than the eastern (downtown). I just happened to know one student currently in this porgram. His comments on this program is not that positive. Anyway, I just assumed what I heard is what I got. It might be kind of judgemental. Sorry. You can go there to check it out yourself! Different ppl may come up with different answers! Good luck then~ |
