Because although my spoken English is not good at all, my written English, as mentioned by my professor, is much better than my American graduate peers. If you have an opportunity to study in the U.S., you will notice that you even have difficulty in comprehending those essays written by poor GMAT testakers. The validity of GMAT cannot be disproved simply becasue some guy says that it is an exam preparation tool. Keep in mind though, in top B-school in the U.S, there are tons of examinations. Take mine for example, there are 4 midterms and 1 final. This does not include case discussion and group presentation. I hope CD followers will not be deviated by some unique, unrepresentative cases. A serious preparation in GMAT is quite important to hone up your English skill for intensive b-school education; no one will feel sorry for you if your essay is not comprehensable. However, on the other hand, if you just want to get into a party school such as XXX, good command of English is not necessary, because those third tier instructors also do not use English in the classroom. In America, we call those TTT (Third Tier Toilet). I feel shame of your words, if you are really a so called famous B-school student. Different people have different background and different career goal, and i just want to share my own experincens with other CDers. If you disagree with me, it's ok. But hope you will respect others' choices!!!
