为什么Prep笔记中说，A选项中，the other结构不完整 ？细读了一下，只是感觉意思上稍有些不对。因为在先前认为的不可能中怎么就把smallpox给排除了呢。

还望NN指点。多谢。

我也认为是the other不正确，other与the连用，后面如果跟单复名词，意思表示的是两个中的“另一个”；如果后面跟复数名词，则表示“其余所有的”，这个意思在这里显然不通。即使把the去掉，也不太好，从逻辑意思上看。
