mitbbs上说cornell的 The original words from Dr. Eisner quote by quote "All financial engineering M.Eng. students would reside and study in Ithaca during the fall and spring semesters of their first year of study, presumabl y do an internship (probably in Manhattan) during the following summer, and then do their design project and take three 3-credit-hour courses in New Yor k during their final, fall semester. Instruction in that semester would tak e place in the ORIE office in lower Manhattan, 1.5 blocks away from Wall Str eet.Starting in the Fall Semester of 2009, three-semester M.Eng. students in Fin ancial Engineering would no longer have the option of doing their third seme ster in Ithaca – Manhattan would be their only option. In the Fall Semeste r of 2008 students would be able to choose between Ithaca and Manhattan." The following is my couple cents Well almost every single company will come to cornell do interview, except so me small hedge fund.Make u pretty busy. I have a expreience of flying from Itahca to NYC 4 times in 2 weeks. And one friend flew there 3 times a week. good? bad? i donno. It might make sense to get the last term in NYC. I am not quite sure about the three 3-credit-hour courses. Should be more in dustrial oriented. Currently we had a few classes taught by ppl on the streets (MDs from Lehman , DB ,etc) Hope that is the case. |
