I can go to university of minnesota this Fall, but I would rather defer one year for SJSU~~~

viviforever, i got a call from hr today, and they told me not to refer anybody at this point for all the offers have been rendered for this summer. I think this office only focuses three schools in midwest, which are UChicago, Kelloge and Kelly.

thanks for the comment. I think business travel is not a problem for me, cause i'm traveling now anyways. What I really wanna know is that whether male will do better than female in this career and eventually be promoted to a higher management level position. Or I should not take this route and start with a consulting firm. So you currently work in a bank? that's good, hehe, I want to go back banking industry. I worked in the bank before I came her eon operation side . what are you doing now?

HEHE，我也是因为LG今年要在SAN　ＪＯＳＥ上班了，所以才选的这个学校。

自己还是很想去baruch读ＭＢＡ　（accountancy)的，真是要命。ＢＬＥＳＳ吧，电话面试时也没人跟我开玩笑。

想想，最后ＪＡＮＩＳ说觉得我的ＧＭＡＴ还不错，（汗一下），心里还觉得好受些。没想到这个学校这么受欢迎啊。

consulting dept? which one. sjsu actually suggest me to work in transaction service dept of a big four firm. i'm currenlty working in an investment bank analyzing risks.

HEHE，the company I worked for is a dependant consultant company of big four, but internally, we called that Consulting Dept. We worked with tax , ERS , audit,..other departments together.

I am a little confused, since you have a job in IB, why you choose accounting major? you should choose a MBA or Master of Finance. As for me ,i would like to work in a commercial bank on credit analysis,hehe,If i have already had a job like yours, I will not choose to study for MSA .

 And I really don't know there's a transaction service dept in the big four in usa.  in china, I didn't hear about this department, maybe I left there very early,in 2003. Maybe there are many different departments setting....I think your backgroud is good,if you really want to work in big four, you can have a try now.

IB has so many divisions, my division is not that exciting. I want to do M&A work, but without accounting skills, it's impossible. Transaction service has something to do with M&A. Anyway, i think my previous experience will not be wasted. and i 'm not gonna sacrifise my life for my current stupic ib job.
