Congratulations. Check with the admission office about the scholarships. Ask about the loans and whether the maturity date of the loan is extendable or not. My view is that CKGSB is very confident of the students and they expect that their alumni will not only pay back the loan and they will even donate extra money back to school if that is necessary (which may not be necessary if Li Kashing foundation continues to provide support). Don't worry about the tuition. Get a loan from CKGSB, you only need to pay back in 2012. At that point, the no interest loan will be a small part of your budget. If in 2012, you are still fincially constrained such that paying back the loan is a big burden, you can always renegotiate with CKGSB at that time to come up with a mutually beneficial solution. CKGSB trust that the value it brings to the students is so large that such a scenario is unlikely to occur.
