It seems funding is not a case for your family, don't consider the input and output immediately after graduation, you should go to stanford. since your parents care about the brand name very much and from long term, maybe it is not a bad choice.

Just compare the program and palcement after graduation, chicago is definitely better than MS&E in stanford.

P.S. NYU's overall reputation even cannot compare to chicago, can it change your parents' mind?

我还是相信我可以凭自己的能力在以后的路上走的远一些的,学校更多还只是敲门砖吧.

nyu至少在纽约,而且我已经跟爸妈渲染过了北大牛mm们据了stanford的好项目去到这里的事情,还省钱(毕竟还是不容易啊~)我想他们可以接受. 至少我自己心里优势也大些.

stanford那个program真的不怎么样，我能理解stanford名字的吸引力
不过reputation这个东西，这三个都已经够了，后面还是要靠自己。
如果以后比较长的一段时间里准备给投行基金打工的，那就chicago或者 cornell的FE
如果家庭背景很强，很快就会自己干的，那就stanford吧
