The financial program is just under stat  that is why you got offer from stat. But I don't agree with you. Do you think cornell, chicago or columbia are very stronger than UW?  I don't think so. Actually, only NYU or CMU is better than UW because their location is very great and academic is great two.The courant institute of NYU is very very amazing. The math in UW is very very very strong too. Do you need to take 3 courses? Maybe they think your bk is not strong enough.

我也拿到cornell的拒信了，在等NYU跟CMU。我看你bf就拿那个mfe offer得了，既然想进quant领域，出来应该找工作没太大问题，当然工资没top那么高就是了。物流完全就到另一行了，而且意思不大，以前在这行业做过。

even though stat finance and statistics are under the same department, my classmate told me it probably will be vary hard to transfer from each other...

yeah, i need to take 3 under statistics courses  coz there is only one course related to statistics in my transcripts so far.

I am so wondering that you just apply statistic-finance but UW  gave you a conditional offer for statistics you didn't apply. Are you going to UW?
