It depends on your career plan, you probablly need to conduct more research about schools. If you hope to seek opportunities in IB, consulting, marketing, industry finance, real estate, bio-tech, high-tech, health-care, pharmacy, UNC is definitely worth consideration. Bank of america and Wachovia. Although UNC is not located in Chicago, all big consulting come to UNC too, as far as I know, deloitte held 10 networking activities in UNC in the past 8 months. (networking opportunites are vital to your application for internships and full-time positions). (you can read my personal experience in this URL http://forum.chasedream.com/dispbbs.asp?boardID=13&ID=231409&page=1 ) If you are interested in other opportunies, due to my limited info,I am not very sure whether UNC is strong or not. For instance, while UNC ranked pretty high in entrepreneurship in EMBA, I have not paid much attention to dynamics in that area... |
