今天收到USF international team的邮件 说我已经被录取了..但是Admission details里面录取状态是PROVISIONAL　邮件上的具体内容是

Congratulations, you have been admitted to the University of South Florida!  Below are the details of your admission:

Admitted Status: PROVISIONAL  Go to http://web.usf.edu/iac/admissions/final.html for information on finalizing your admission.

Academic Level: Graduate

什么意思啊..什么叫finalizing your admission???他要求我提交的材料不是申请的时候都已经提交了吗???

应该就是AD了

provisional 可能指的是这个

ISSS will communicate through email if any further documentation will be needed from you in order to determine your immigration status.

如果这些东西有问题你的AD可能被收回

are you a senior in college? if so, the admission will be conditional on the completion of your bachelor's degree. they will need it once you obtain it to finalize the procedure.
other documentations, as the websited noted, might be transcripts and the like. ISSS has no authority over admission but filing  non-immigration paperwork. they work FOR you. don't worry.

Go to the website provided to find out what causes your admission provisional or just directly contact the admission office,whichever works for you.

In my case,the school said that they did not get electronic format of GMAT score. I called the test center to take care of that. Besides, the school needs to see my Chinese diplomas and degrees. I will bring the documents on campus visit.

Don't worry about it. You will be fine.

我现在不是本科生 我研究生二年级 我们的学制是2.5年 1.5年的时候修完所有的课程学分 所以申请的时候寄过去的成绩单还差一学期的成绩 而且我9月入学的话还没有拿到这边的学位(申请材料上明确告诉了他们我正常是08年1月拿master学位) 我从他们的邮件和网站上也看不出来他们到底要我补什么材料 是完整的研究生成绩单还是其他什么东西 如果是要master学位证明我哪里啊5555..我就怕出什么问题USF会不会收回我的offer??现在给STAFF发了2封email了还没有回信..着急!

想问下版上谁知道这种研究生没毕业拿到国外学校offer直接想去读PhD的 遇到上述情况是怎么回事吗?现在一头雾水!! 谢谢了

这个就比较麻烦了。申请的时候你说你将要拿到master's degree了吗？ 如果说了自然要把学位证在入学的时候送过去。

就是没有说在7月前拿到学位啊 就写清楚了是08年1月拿到学位 怕学校理解错误..那就郁闷了
