Offers: PhD in Finance at UW-Madison & GT

Last night, just got an unofficial notification from the Director of Graduate Studies at UW-Madison-Finance:

I just wanted to write to you let you know that I am going to admit you into
the program with tuition remission and financial aid. The administrative
part of the funding process is not yet done; so I can't give you a formal
financial aid letter yet.

You can expect a letter in one or two weeks.

Up to now, have got offers in Finance from Vanderbilt, UW-Madison, Georgia Institute of Technology, and probably University of Florida (I felt my chance>90%). Still have 4 other schools to hear back from...

我正在考虑中。有的学校对我非常NICE，给了非常好的OFFER，让我非常感动。我想我会尽量在3月15号之前做出决定，尽量不拖在WAITINGLIST上的兄弟姐妹的后腿。

To LZ, 请问你的interest是Market Microstructure 还是 Coporate Finance and Assest Pricing？ 我觉得同样是Finance的PhD， 好像也要分成这两大部分。谢谢!
