[求助]请教各位一个问题

昨天翻阅OG 11th 时，在第三部分的 Diagnostic Test 的导语部分有一个地方不是太清楚，恳请各位大侠帮忙解释：

这句话是在第19页， Instructions下面的Note中最后一段话：“You should not compare the number of questions you got right in each section. Instead, you should compare how your responses rated in each section.”

So, my question is "what is  'how your responses rated in each section'"? Especially I do not know about the meaning of "rated", if you make your responses rated, there must be a standard ranking system, then i can find which range I am in , but i do not find such ranking stuffs(is it the appendix 1), or i just make a wrong understanding.

thank you for your elaborated explanations, your explanations will make me to see the results of the diagnostic test more  objectively, and decide which part i should start.
