我想申请NYU Stern，以下我的情况：

一个普通大学本科，学经济管理。在学校担任教师工作一段时间后，目前在外资银行，任个人银行部的客户经理。因为以后的职业规划是想进投行，非常喜欢NYU Stern啊，是我一直梦想的学府。

现在家准备考G，T。因为工作用英语很少，大学六级也是刚刚过，英语底子很差，不过我会将G,T考到足够的成绩。请大家给我建议，我的希望如何？

I like your question!  

This is only Febuary, and majority already got summer internships.  Most of the
internships are with the best companies on the street, such as Morgan
Stanley, Goldman, Merrill, Citi, Credit Suisse, Bear Stearn, Deutsche, Barclays, etc.  And
many have 2-4 offers.  Most got internship at New York from
balge brackets, literally.   Some gave up one of the best offers in New York and chose to go back to Hong Kong for
summer.  

I got to tell you, this is a great school, and placement records of school are great!  Even better than many that ranked higher in general.

我们学校的实习找的还不错，今年经济复苏比较明显，各个公司招聘活动也增加。在纽约我们还是得益于经济的快速恢复。我们今年总共有4个是直接从大陆过来的，有5个台湾同胞，1个香港同胞，1个新加坡同胞，还有 7 ，8个是在美国已经工作若干年的华人。

Hi dear coffeemug,

I would like to apply for NYU due to its location and strong reputation but my career goal is not one of the banking field.  I am currently in Big 4 and want to do strategic consulting. Will NYU look for students with goal in finance related field and consider me not a good fit cause of my career goal? Should I tailor my goal to be more finance related?

Hello~~~want  to ask something about the SCPS in NYU. I am applying for the sports management(master) program. I am a senior student in RUC, just interested in sports not professional. Will the SCPS suitable for me? Or it is just like 继续教育学院（成人教育学院） in China?
