Dear Supersnoopy8, There is no formula for any successful admission. I see a successful career track, and a decent GMAT score (I have no idea how TOEFL is scoring, my TOEFL test was 8 years ago and it was totally on a different scale – I am old). If you already set up your mind coming to business school, I can’t see why you should wait for another year. Keep in mind that essay is a critical part in the application package. No matter how good you are, you have to let other ones see it. Besides all the scores and transcripts and awards you already have, resume and essay is the best place to tell you story, let your personality shine, and illustrate sth that are important but not obvious in other materials. I have a lot of classmates worked in commercial banks before. They all did well in school. Stern is a wonderful place to chase your dream. Please let us know if you have any questions about school or application. Best luck! |
