on-campus visit不去是不是就没机会了？

知道的，问我在哪里读书，还问我是哪里人。他们说encourage international students to visit campus. 居然还说If you will need to apply for a visa, I will be happy to send you an invitation letter
(similar to the one attached) so you can take it with you for your visa appointment. 感觉这是他们的传统，而且已经预期到签证的问题了。汗阿，，，，
