songlovegt兄的總結挺強, 我做GWD-29-Q10時也沒注意到這個while的用法.
對於GWD-29-Q10上的while的用法, 我覺得有幾個可能:
- 這個用法ETS/GMAC不接受, 因為while的主語省了, 不清楚誰hold the check to the light.  當然songlovegt兄的邏輯性解釋是合理, 可是一般(老外)一次讀不出的省略都被看成錯
- OG10#205指出although從句必須要有相對的主句; 當然, 這個是while不是although, 可能用法不一樣(but I doubt it).  也可能while引導狀語和從句的規則不一樣(but I doubt it too because of the ambiguity of the 'subject')
- 最後一個可能是songlovegt兄的看法是完全正確.
