因为希望拿到全额奖学金,所以没有申请TOP20.现在有点后悔，该试试的

BACKGROUND: GMAT760/4.5. TOEFL: 110. 3年F500医疗行业，两年全职，一年兼职。ENGIEERING背景。

请大家建议。

另外，关于I20表的问题，我是不是可以同时有两张或以上的I20表，只是去签证时要决定去那个学校，然后把其中一张退回去就OK了？也就是我需要损失DEPOSIT?会不会有什么不良记录之类的东西。。。会不会给签证带来麻烦？

Frankly, I do not think you should go to UCI. Since you already received the email from Vanderbilt, you will get the offer absolutely. It is really not necessary for you to get the offer before 23 Feb. Moreover, according to your background, you can get the full schlolarship from Minnesota. Why won't you wait for another one month?

Oh, it is impossible for an extension. I requested an early decision from Vanderbilt. So they requested me to respond by the deadline that I expect the decision. They did me a favor and expected me to respond to them immediately.

I can't agree any more. It's not worth weighing too much on the short-term expense, and instead take is as a lifelong investment. Your long-term return counts more.

Hey, if I tell you I have no money to pay for the tuition and the living expenses. Will you still say that "the tuition should not be the first reason you concern." Tell me who will pay for the whole expense? Wholly count on loans?

Thanks. But who can guarantee a full sholarship from Minnesota when I have not even submitted my application? My confidence? I will not kid on this. I ask for decisions from Vanderbilt because at that time UCI was the only offer with half tuition. UC Irvine sent me the offer first, then I told Vanderbilt and they agreed to send me the decision before UCI's deadline. I need to pay $1,000 to UCI before Feb 23, which I don't think I will go with such limitted aid. Then what should I do? Just give up UCI without offers from other schools? I surely want to secure at least one offer before I get the offer I want the most. Anyway, I don't think I will make a bad decision since all the schools in my list are not bad schools. I will apply to Minnesota but that does not mean I will give up all the other offers.

I will figure out, that is why I said financial aid is so important to me. The more financial aid I get from school, the easier for me to finance the rest for the visa.

why not? I have sufficient reasons to persuade myself and the admssions committees for why now. If i make money big enough, I probably just won't go. Plus I am now young...I don't want to wait until my marriage age and then go aboard and get married at 30...

I know people who wholly count on the financial aid for tution and living expenses. Plus I don't have money, that does not mean I have no way to finance my schooling.
