我一直搞不太清楚各式各样的比较结构，特别是as和like According to a recent poll, owning and living in a freestanding house on its own land is still a goal of a majority of young adults, like that of earlier generations. (A) like that of earlier generations (B) as that for earlier generations (C) just as earlier generations did (D) as have earlier generations (E) as it was of earlier generations 这一题当时上课的时候的说法是：因为是A do, like B结构，所以应该是that of generation与主语owning and living比较，因此选择E，排除A。

前面那题的关键在理解like that of earlier generations中的that指代的是goal，而句子的主语却是owning and living in a freestanding house on its own land 逻辑不一致 所以A错了
后面这个题目应该根据one 。。。another 排除CDE as连接句子排除A
而如果用as的话 as pearls move mysteriously from one necklace to another从语法上看是可以的 但此时这样用似乎有pearls actually move from one necklace to another的隐含意思 也不是很理想的答案 只是让你理解as和like的区别
