让我一下子晕过去的第一道数学好像是这样子的，头痛的回忆了好久，也只能有个大概。希望大家补充和订正。

Legislation committee has n members.  If some one proposes somthing, he should sent report to the rest of the members; each rest of the members will sent out a letter.  If reports sent out are m, what is the total of reports and letters?

Letters=m*(n-1), Reports=m, Total of reports and letters=m*(n-1)+m=mn.

问什么不是  letters= m*(n-m) ?  total of letter and report =m*(n-m)+m  呢？
