So I start to search and I found out that EMBA is not old as we think. Many people want to avoid the traffic of full time, then apply EMBA. EMBA average age is 33, so if you have worked for 6 or more years, you can apply. You have much more chance to get in. The only difficulty is you have to get your company sponsor letter to confirm that allow you to leave every other Friday. If you pay tuition yourself, they offer career service too, although it is limited, but helpful. If you do not worry about finding a job with a good MBA degree, EMBA is also good...at least like Columbia, NYU's EMBA is much more easier to apply. Wharton is more tough as it tries to tie with full time program. If you have question, you can email me. I personaly do not worry about finding the job, so I think full time and EMBA does not matter to me, as long as top MBA degree. But for EMBA, i only consider Wharton and MIT. MIT one year fellow program does not offer career service. But consider its reputation, any degree is good. you won't worry about finding a good job after graduate. about the other school..I almost want to apply columbia..but today I got yale, then I give it up...full time is still better to find job for a job switch. Wharton's EMBA have the same career service with full time..almost same...and only 30 mintues away from my home, that is why i consider it my top choice. wish this is helpful to you and good luck. Thanks. It is helpful. Yes, Columbia's and NYU's EMBA are much more easier than the full-time programs to apply, and that's why their rank are much lower than the full-time programs'. If you get admission of Wharton's EMBA, which one will you choose, Wharton or Yale? |
