Ding by Duke, Essay 逻辑不连贯

Bad news. Duke healthcare is my dream. I am even older than you. It is getting tougher and tougher. One problem that I can sense is that your longterm goal is to build a software company, which is not really healthcare. LZ you think about it, does the Duke healthcare really help you on this?

Very good point, zyesandiego.

Duke MBA will help my short-term, not long-term goal. There are some gaps between my goals now looking back at this.

I am holding off R2 application to Wharton. One year should be enough to prepare for Wharton 2007.

Hee hee, just making a wild guess based on the information you provided here.

You've got a great profile and an even better attitude.  I'm sure with a set of thoughtful essays, schools would be begging for you to consider their offers next year, =)

by the way, why don't you just try other concentrations rather than healthcare, you still have plenty of time.

I realized I am ill-prepared now and need a long time to prepare. You should apply when you are really ready. A rush application will spoil the fun.

MBA Application is a rewarding process for me. It teaches me to be self-aware and appreciate life.

Oh, this might be useful to fellow applicants:

The health care concentration at Duke MBA requires a second interview. I missed that one and didn't follow up with the health care concentration director (sent one email back and totally forgot about that). However since some people received offer without an interview, this step is not critical. Still this may be useful for people applying in the next round or so.
