statistically there can be all sorts of correlation among various factors, but such correlation may not reveal any causal effect. after reading leapon's study, i'm so intrigued to find out whether: 1) last minute submission has any penalty; 2) a pm interview time slot gains any advantage over its am counterpart; 3) an applicant's next-door neighbor's cousin's ex-wife's sexual orientation has any impact on the success rate of application; 4) a full moon leads to better gmat score.... i'm now really fascinated to think about these questions.    |
