虽然说without benefit of the new process, 但是是不是production costs at the factory for a similar product的下降还是与trial有什么关系呢？如果没有关系的话，为什么会在所有条件不变的情况下，没有理由的下降呢？

My understanding:

Assuming the question wants to weaken the following argument: new process showed 15% cost reduction, compared to old performance of standard process => new process produces cost saving.

B looks like to be an answer mode that other factor (other than new process) causes the cost saving.

However, it is not the case. If it is true, then "the other factor" must have nothing to do with the new process. But, choice B indicates that the result of new process has a connection with the reduced number of rejected finished products. So, choice B is not weaken, but support that the new process has connection with the cost saving caused by reduced number of rejected finished products.

To make more clear:

The new process makes those finished products. Now, quality control rejects less number of finished products.

So, the new process has a connection with the reduced number of rejected finished products. Thus, "the reduced number of rejected finished products" is not a factor independent out of the new process. It is actually accompanied with the new process.

大家认为这是因果题型吗? 可原文并没有说生产过程是唯一原因啊! 为什么还用非A->B 来削弱呢?  

我记得MINDFREE 说过一道题,A->B,用非A-B来削弱不好,实在没有办法才选,如OG131,这题是这样吗?
