呵呵。搜到这个帖子。想来都是N年前的，但是有看到斑竹说要跟着前面的帖子发。我试一下。：）

这道题选C。综观全文，必然是讲社会因素而非作为总统夫人的身份来解释ER的一生。且从文中可以找到明确的detail说明这一点。
C：对一位保守的议员的立法工作的解释，显示这位议员的目标源于一项他作为一员参与的民族保守运动；

那scharf那本书有什么不同呢？最后一段开头说道： allows us to see Roosevelt in a different light and to bring her life into a more richly detailed context，所以要找的类比是，从一个以前被忽略的方面（有别于以前大多数人所关注的方面）去诠释这个人。

一个著名的运动员，一直被关注的应该是运动方面的成就，所以如果从家庭的角度去描述他的话就很符合题目的要求了
