I still doubt that a company hires an engineer from oversea and pays him at a local rate. I know that GE financial (US) hired some IT engineers from India and paid them less than half of the normal rate. There must be a good reason that a US company will hire someone from China, such as desperate seeking for an engineer but not available in the states. Good Chinese university graduate doesn't make sense, since only very few (as few as five) chinese universities get into top 500 universites.

英特尔还是从亚洲地区拉了很多便宜的劳动力到美国去的。毕竟成本低啊。他们很多人都是拿L签证拖家带口的过去的，据我所知。
