各位CDer,

學歷: 新聞系 (香港普通大學), 國際市場學碩士(英國大學)

工作經驗 : 超過5年地產市場及銷售工作經驗(曾於香港大地產發展商工作), 並有4年part-time工作經驗, 涉及公關, 專業市場調查, 電力公司及外資保險公司

GPA : 不是很理想, 因我花了太多時間工作了

GMAT: 第一次成績不理想, 現在準備於十二月參加第二次考試.

目標: Top 10 MBA (如果可以), 其次為Top 20, 同時希望畢業後可參予投資或諮詢工作

希望各位能給予選校的意見.. 感謝

香港的教育制度跟美国有很多共同的地方， 这可能对你来说不是好事情。 因为中国学生的奖励制度老美看不懂， 只好靠推荐信。 中国会用英语写推荐信的人又少。 于是很多人就这么混出来了。

而你呢， 你的成绩不好， 就是不好，没什么办法装饰自己。 你的推荐人估计都能写的一手好英文， 也就没办法混。

所以， 建议你无论如何把GMAT考高， 不然你的目标不是那么容易达到。

His point is that schools in US will understand your transcript and the educational system, whether it's modelled after the Brits or the Americans.

I would wait on picking schools until you have your GMAT score.  It won't be a determining factor but might help you narrow down your choices. 

You can also start looking through the essay questions from potential schools and see which ones interest you.  The questions can tell you quite a bit about the schools and their styles, generally.

Thank you for your advise. I am preparing GMAT exam and trying to get the best score as I can. I do not know I can get 700+ or not, but I will try my best to do so.
