Eligibility

There are two types of eligibility for a SUNet ID:

• University-eligible. Full-service SUNet IDs are available to current, registered students; and to regular and emeritus faculty and staff, including SLAC staff. Hospital staff are entitled to a base-level SUNet ID.
• Sponsored. Anyone who is not University-eligible who needs to use SUNet resources in support of legitimate University work can be sponsored for a SUNet ID.
