I have engineering background, and am applying for CBS 09 ED

I have a question about the career goal, some people suggest you to 'stand out', since I don't have financial background, it would be better too set my career goal outside of financial scope; however, other people think that it's better to fit in the strength of the school, for CBS, it's strength lays in finance and entrepreneurship, thus it's better to have a goal that matches these areas, with a non-financial career goal (consulting for instance) the chance of getting admitted is much lower.

Could anyone give some opinion? Thanks a lot!

One more question, does the degree you get differ with focuses? Or everybody gets the same degree? can you change your focus after you enter the program?

请问关于Accelerated program starting from Jan. 网上说application deadline是10月3号，可是1月份开学，如果在Deadline之前一点点交的话签证来得及吗？另外，网上说decision period is within 8 weeks.意思是application提交后8周吧？这样的话是不是交得晚chance会比较小？因为offer之前可能已经发得差不多了？多谢！

个人认为，最保险的方法是： official transcript上写什么你就递交什么。要是official transcript上没有GPA信息，就不要自己算，一是过程麻烦，二是算错了更麻烦～.
