From my point of view, you have an interesting background, and the GMAT is decent. You should leverage on your standing-out background and try to meet the fit-in criteria. It's hard to judge your chance of getting an interview because the hard facts are only part of the story. The most important thing is the logic and the credibility of your story.

Hey.... i would like to ask about the alumni interview question..
if i get the interview, i can choose which alumni to interview me?
i stay in HK so the alumni will be one located in HK rite?
i met several alumni during the columbia info session.. so if the school send me the alumni list... i can pick the one who seems to be kind and i chat with him/her before?
am i correct... how many nos.of interviewer/alumni would the school let u to pick?
