EDHEC (Ecole De Hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord) is a leading French business school founded in 1906. It has three campuses, one in Lille, one in Nice, where it absorbed the Theseus International Management Institute, and another in Paris, founded in 2006. EDHEC is EQUIS accredited by the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Education), and AMBA accredited for the International MBA programme and by the AACSB.

Programmes

It offers different kinds of degree-awarding programmes:

The Master in Management (Programme Grande Ecole), mainly targeted at students in the French "classes préparatoires" system but also open to French & international students with a Bachelor degree. The language of instruction is French or English. Campus: Lille, Nice, Paris (European Apprenticeship programme.)

The Master of Science programmes in European Business, Finance, Marketing, Risk and Asset Management, and Strategic Management attract students from around the world. Language of instruction: English. Campus: Nice

Theseus EDHEC MBA - ranked #8 worldwide in the Financial Times 2004 “value for money” category in the full-time MBA programmes ranking.

Executive MBA - Part-time. Language of instruction: French and English. Campus: Lille

It also offers a variety of executive education courses in management and finance.

Ranking

The school is usually ranked fifth among business schools in France, after HEC, ESSEC, ESCP-EAP and EM Lyon.

In 2006, the EDHEC Grande Ecole Programme ranked 7th in the Financial Times ranking of European Masters in Management.
