may I choose NOT write the essay?

hi,

I am planning to skip the essay since it won't count/grade on the final score. How negative impact it can be?

My
writing skill is only average if not below, and don't think I can do an
outstanding job after stuggling in the 5 sections. In addition, my
handwriting is surely below-average, which can only lead to negative.

Appericate all your kind comments.

Skipping essay is a very bad idea, worse than writing an awful one.
While writing skill is something that can be improved while you are in law school, skipping essay says something of your attitude, which admission committee is especially keen to look after.

agree with the comment above.

ps: based on my remembrance, some law school object to escapying writting assignment explicitly on their bulletin of application.

So you'd not to deny this kind of requirement.

Well, according to PowereScore and many other test preparation material, your LSAT will not be graded if you skipped the writing section.
