mark一下：

C 中的 its 如果指代 society，则改变 原句句意； 如果指代 those resources，1.主谓不一致 2.不应该是主格

但是manhattan明确说过： 同一句话里面的it和its只能指代同一个对象， 如果its指代resouce的话就是硬伤，不应该指代resources

在GMATCLUB中找到了对此题的解答，可供参考：

Clearly C) is wrong.

(C) and defined rights and obligations as they were involved in its distribution and consumption

here "they" is incorrectly referring to "tribe" which is singular and was referred to using "it" as in "its labor" and "its resources".
Also, "its" in "its distribution" is incorrectly referring to plural 'resources'
