正确答案是B，因为mistake... for...才是正确的用法。但是我有个疑问，语法里面有条规则，如果动词有相应的名词形式，就不用the+动名词。既然这样，为什么不是the rise of the moon呢？

因为没有指示时间的词，had lived in England and canada，他过去生活在英国和加拿大，意思上不大顺。1940年生印度，1961年前生活在加拿大和英国，1961年去美国，88年美国公民。似乎很怪，出生在印度，生活在加拿大和英国？

如果是取得美国身份后生活在加拿大和英国更加的合理一些。
