我想这里OG说法有点问题，除了C选项以外，D和E里都只有一个it啊？难道选项里面有印刷错误？

In D, 我印象中it is too ... for sb. to do sth. 句法中it语法上应指for sb. to do sth., 而不是从句(because)的主语,尽管从逻辑意思上可以理解为the wavelength.这样说不知道对不对?

总结一下问题：

(1) register 什么，是wavelength还是infrared radiation，哪一个表达更准确？（属于生物科技问题）

不过在google上面只能收缩到eyes register ...light，如紫外线、红外线、光等，而没有register 波长、辐射。如果infrared radiation理解为红外线的话，可以用register。

（2）C选项中 because its wavelength—0.1 millimeters—is too long for the eye to register it，这里最后的it指代的是wavelength还是infrared radiation。后者依据同一句话中代词指代相同的原则

以上问题，请讨论！

thus ( it is ) invisible, 其中省略的it是指代the wavelength of infrared radiation的，但按照逻辑应该是infrared radiation不可见

刚刚查了longman，发现too...to的两种用法，也许对这道题有帮助

我理解c选项曲解了原意，因为too long for the eye to register it按照longman 的解释应理解为波长对眼睛register it而言太长了，而不是说波长对眼睛而言太长了，以至于不能register it。所以与原句意思不一致，错误。
