DUKE 给我发了封信说 我round 1 complete并且 will receive notification of an admission decision by Dec. 19th. 而且还要求我如果要是改动联系方式一定要通过e-mail提供书面申请.是不是说我已经被录取了,只是等正式通知呢?疑惑中.还有人收到同样的信吗?

I think it's just a letter to notify you that you can expect a final decision on your application by Dec. 19th. I don't think it gives you the hint that you're admitted in any way. Be patient, Dec. 19th is not far away, you'll know the decision by that time. Good luck!

我去年考toefl的时候，正好一个项目最紧张的阶段，只有617。由于是笔试，来不及重考。 Duke Admission office给我的答复是, don't worry, 他们通过一个完整的package来evaluate每个applicant.
