请教PhD in Case Western or ERIM

在犹豫，究竟哪一个学校好？不知道Case Western怎么样，据说不是很好。而ERIM在荷兰，好像MBA排名还不错，不知道研究实力如何？哪位高人能给点意见？

ERIM的MBA全世界排名是第24位，在ERIM有系统的Ph.D program. 所有的博士candidates在前两年必须修完1200学时。ERIM的PhD有四个研究方向，因为是management science,他们有不少和industry合作的项目。我觉得ERIM的Ph.D很不错。他们的Ph.D筛选也很系统和严格。如果还有问题的话，可以继续询问。详细资料可查询www.erim.eur.nl.

CRW seems lack of funding. So finally I gave up its interview, even though I have already applied its PhD in management.

I have a friend in CWRU. He told me the school became lack of funding due to an overbudget building project, by a famous architect who is wellknown to exceed his budget.

where is Case Western?

ERIM is a good institute but think twice before you come to the Netherlands.I have been here for more than 3 years, it is such a boring country that you find no good natural sceneries,modern skyscrapers here,Dutch people are not that easy-going and friendly compared with Americans that I know. My advice is if you can go to the U.S. don't think about Holland, even if for your future career considerations, what can you expect from a country that everyone speaks Dutch and you are a only nonative English speaker?

Beyond5,thanks, it is a school in cleveland, not a very good place to live and study. The business school of Case Western is lack of funding. That might be a problem. Without a monthly stipend period would be a great threat to PhD study. Would you mind to add my E-mail address to your MSN list? I can know more about Netherlands and ERIM if you can help me.
