Thanks for your link. Do you know the alumini mentor program for the first 6 weeks? What kind of activities are they? 

I found that one on the old website. Did electives change as Core changed or they are left as they are?

I feel the alumni mentorship program is discontinued. Please refer to the following webpage for the new mentorship program.

Most of the electives will be intact. We have many finance and public management elective courses.

我们正式开始使用自己的case。

和绝大部分学校一样，我们购买HBS的case。但从今年3月份起，为了配合新课程的需要，SOM成立了case research team，director是从HBS请过来的。这个team的任务就是开发SOM自己使用的case，并注意改进HBS case的不足之处。我昨天拿到4个，2个给customer perspective课程，2个给competitor perspective课程使用。有几十个case会在明年3月开始的最后一个core course module中使用。这个module完全是综合case study，不分学科限制。由于现有的别的学校的case大多针对某个学科，比如针对markeitng的case，针对accounting的case，因此需要撰写全新的case来满足这部分课程的需要。

我们对Dean Podolny非常敬佩，他是个有眼光和雄心的院长，上任以来从课程改革、筹集资金（SOM现在资金非常充足）、加强校友联系等方面做了大量工作。NYU STERN BUSINESS SCHOOL的career development office的director即将来这里上班，这是全国范围内招聘的结果，目的就是加强就业方面的工作。
