I would like to share with you some latest information. The first-round application deadline has passed. Compared to last year's 540 applicants, the number of first-round applicants  this year has soared to around 800. Good luck to you all!

so if they give 100 seats for 1 round and the yield is 85%, there will be 118 admission for 1 round, and the acceptance will only be 15%?! That sounds really competetive!

Supplemental:

45%-50% people in first round got invitation. So the acceptance will be around 25%. Now this looks much better to me.

lz, if you get to know the admissions of the 1st round, pls do do let us know. Guess there are many ppl who are also interested in this key figure.

But still, I think the matter is not worring about how many spots there are left, the right question is "do I really match thsi school". If so, though there might be a fierce competition this year, still worth the try. But I d like to know the current situation.

住哪里便宜又好还近,10:00面试,不敢住太远.

15号晚上能否一起吃顿饭,介绍一下YALE. 我TREAT.

几个问题，恳请回答：

1。Yale招收学业背景是纯文科的人吗？

2。关于prerequisites，一定要入学前修完，还是入学后能补修？

3。如果MBA入学前在州立大学修一个学期的相关课程，不知道算修过prerequisites吗？修的学分能转吗，这样读MBA时是不是就能少修一些课呀？ 谢谢！

4. Yale is my dream school.   The 2nd round deadline is on Jan. 10 and the 3rd round deadlind is on Mar. 14.   Considering that I can only finish GMAT and TOEFL by mid December and I only have less than 3 weeks to prepare PS, essays, recommendations, etc.,  I plan to apply several bottom -line schools in mid January and accumulate some application experience, and then apply Yale in the 3rd round.   Is my 3rd round plan proper or I'd better apply in the 2nd round? 

5.  I assume that maybe some NNs admitted in the former two rounds may decline the offers and I can take more time to polish my essays and interview skills.  But I also knew that there are 800 applicants in the 1st round this year.   Is there any chances left in 3rd round for international students?  I am currently in the States, so I think I should have enough time to process all the procedures such as visa if I can get admission on 3rd round.

学生背景各种都有，并不是只有文科。有不少是做non profit或者以后想做non profit的。

我们没有入学前prerequisite吧，不知道你说的是哪方面。

不建议在第三轮申请。今年SOM只招150人，而第一轮就有800人申请，我估计第三轮机会很小。

我还真不清楚学校附近哪里有方便的宾馆。建议你发邮件问admission的人，他们一定会回复的。

15晚上看时间是否允许，我7点半有个workshop，之前应该没问题。祝你面试顺利。
