请问Darden在大陆的录取者中有没有entrepreneur背景的呢？我大四开始和几个合伙人一起创业，6年，现在公司发展较好，行业领头羊。另外，G较高(770)，gpa很低，有没有拿奖的可能？

Hi William, nice to hear you are applying ED. Yes there's a entrepreneurship scholarship, full tuition for admitted students with entrepreneurship experience, and many times this one goes to China.

Last year I was the only applicant in China with entrepreneurship experience but because of some other reasons I didn't get this one. That said, you have great opportunity to get it, if you are admitted.

Well, actually you can when you write more efficient.

The key is, do not limit your length of essay in the begining (but not too way off certainly), and try to put your great part into. When you are satisfied with the content, you can come back and try to reduce the length. Very often you find it's not that difficult. And it need practise.

Darden要求unofficial transcripts,是否一定要填?那个表格我根本填不下.我们的课程太多了。

因为我想申请ED,所以我想尽快把official transcripts寄过去.

但是查了半天，也没找到是该寄一份还是两份成绩单? 学位,学历证明也用寄么?

最后一个问题，如果recommendation letter都是网上提交的，是否只要寄成绩单和学位,学历证明就可以了。 我想来想去,好象没什么需要邮寄的了。

呵呵，一口气问完了. 如果我录取了，我是肯定要请york吃大餐了。

You can just submit the unoffical transcript (EXCEL File) online, because Darden will request you to submit official transcripts next year if they decide to accept you. So you can do everything online, forget about post office for a while.

Your background is quite impressive, full scholarship is very possible given your entrepreneur experience and an impressive GMAT.

1.你所在的 IT Management 也是属于Darden吗？我在网站上查怎么看到是属于Commerce的呢？

2.Darden的专业设置除了MBA, 我发现在on line 申请时有一项：“please indicate the program tpe you are interested in" 里面有列明" MBA, MBA in Asian Studies,MBA/MSN" 等等，但是在Darden home page里面却没能找到相关详细信息。是我没有找到正确位置吗？

3.我一年前毕业于国内211重点大学国际经济贸易专业，全球第二的咨询公司一年经验（实习生身份）。T657+5.0, GMAT 690.自知背景不强，但对Darden很向往，是否应该尝试申请？

Darden does not have IT management concentration.  I meant, I had IT management experience BEFORE darden.

GMAT and TOEFL is high enough but your working exprience is too short. Sure you can try but I would suggest you focus on 1-2 years later. Darden do care the the quality of your exprience and leadership.

Thanks for noticing my another post. But G700 is just a general statement. I believe 690 or even 680 should be high enough for any top school. I would say, any score that above the average score of that particular school is high enought!
