I certainly understand the good intention of the proposal, but I have to say that I respectfully disagree. I'm sorry but I have to say that I prefer to type English, because it's just way faster for me to type in English -- my 拼音输入 is very very slow. In addition, since GMAT is a test conducted in English, it's just easier to think and write English directly -- 以鬼子之矛攻子之盾。Furthermore, translating back and forth between English and Chinese may slow down the thinking process and cause unnecessary loss of time -- you certainly don't want this to happen during the actual test, do you? If so, I guess it doesn’t hurt to practice a little bit more in English while preparing for the test. I guess this is the reason why other 超级大牛 like mindfree also use English when answering questions. We certainly want to have folks like mindfree continue to come to this board, don't we? I understand the concern of 印巴 steal our "intellectual property", but I guess this concern could be addressed by other means, such as like more strict registration verification -- some earlier posts in the thread have made some interesting suggestions that may worth looking into. On the other hand, from my little experience with GMAT, I feel in the end what really counts is how good you are, not how good or bad others are. 超越自己才是真正最重要的。 我梦想有一天中国的商学院占净世界前列,中文的商院招生考试成为世界有志青年的学习对象。But, we are not there yet. We are still trying to score high on the GMAT and get into a good foreign B-schools, in order to advance the management theories and practices back in our beloved home country. Therefore, embracing English for this purpose, in my opinion, may not be as bad as it sounds -- it may actually be necessary. 个人的一点看法。或许会很不popular。But this is what I truly think on this issue. 不要扔鸡蛋哦!
