请问向这一题应该如何区别阿？

我的思路是：

the reasons....were..as they were

觉得因为时态的关系，都是过去式，补出来比较清楚

请问我错在哪个环节?

'was' is wrong

The sentence is an abbreviated form by leaving "that were" out.

是否可以这样看：能够比较的可以有两点1)reasons ... VS reasons 2）reasons were... VS reasons were 但是AE 中的that , they 没有指代对象（those , what 这样的代词就不存在这样的问题） C中was 应该为were
