11.8/11.19( five questions are same, except one) What’s the most important book in your life? ( about 100 words) I would like to say that New concept English maybe the most important book in my life, it is published by Langman. I would like to say that this book indeed help me a lot in learning English and make me feel interested in English. When I was in my middle school, my English was very so bad. I even wanted to give up because it was so difficult for me. However, my English teacher suggested me to have a look at new concept English, gradually I find more and more interesting in learning English through reading this book because this book has many interested stories. You will never fell boring during study. I also recited many passages of this book and then I could tell other classmates some stories I had just read. It makes me more and more confident in learning English. I really think it is a very excellent book in helping people who want to study English and I also strongly recommend people who want to study English to have a look at this book since it is really worth reading. ( about one minutes) 2. It is a complicate and controversial issue to talk about Tv. Different people hold different ideas in this issue. Some people assist that Tv has brought a lot of benefits to human being, however, on the other hand, some would like to object this opinion and persist that Tv does harm to modern society. In my eyes, I would like to advocate that Tv’s advantages definitely overweight its disadvantages. First of all, Tv has brought us a lot of information which are very important to people, such as information about hurricane, gas price and so on. Many issues which are closely related to people’s daily lives. Second, people can have a lot of entertainment through watching TV, such as watching popular movies, TV series, or hot programs, I would like to take American Idle for example. Thirdly, it is also a very effective way for children to obtain a lot of useful knowledge through watching TV. 3. The girl’s main idea is complete (against, object, refute, disagree) the opinion of open letter. Contrary to the reading that building sculpture will bring students more burdens and take up green land of school. The girl says that money for building the sculpture is donated by others, thus students do not need to afford any fee of this project. She also think it is a good way to build a new sculpture in the school for expressing art in her school. Second, this girl also disagree with the belief that sculpture will take up green land of school and give the reason that students can play football in other places. The main idea of this girl is that it is necessary to have a sculpture in this school. Groupthinking is the way that many people get together and try to find the best way in solving a problem through discussing. However, in the listening part a professor says that groupthinking is not an effective way in solving a problem. The professor tries to prove his idea through citing one meeting that he has experienced. They talked about whether to design more fashion appearance of computers to attract customers. At first, most people agreed this suggestion. However, a senior manager refuted this idea by pointing out that they should pay more attention to technique but not appearance of computer. Then most people turned to agreed with the senior manager for not offending him. They worried that they would not get any promotion for offending him. However, the truth proved that the senior manager’s decision was wrong, thus this company could not get a large market share in that year due to wrong decision. In the next year, this company improved the appearance design and it gained its market again. A woman who is an volunteer in a primary (elementary) school wanted to take children to visit zoos, however, she has no vehicles, so she asked her friend for help. One suggestion is that to borrow two cars from other friends and ask one more person to drive for her, the other is using public transportation. In my opinion, I prefer to the former and refute the latter. It is not an ideal way to use public transportation. As we all know, children in primary school are curious about many things and they maybe do not follow the teacher’s words, they maybe even get off public car in advance. It is such a big challenge to take care so many children in public car. Although renting two vehicles maybe a little boring, but this way will make sure that every children are in the car and will not take off the car before arriving the destination. Anyway, the most important thing is to assure secure of every student. Describing math potential of children. It seems that children under five can understand addition. For example, scientist put a doll on a table and make sure that baby can see this doll, then hide this doll behind a screen. After doing these things, scientist hide another doll behind the screen. In this way, child can assume that it is suppose to have two dolls behind the screen. However, during this period, the scientist has get one doll away from the screen. Thus, when the scientist moves away the screen the child can only see just one doll. He usually appears to be surprise by staring the doll. Because he thinks that must be two dolls but he can only see one. |
