少安毋躁，这不就是讨论嘛，讨着讨着大家就明白了，再说GWD又没有官方答案，以前还有好多争论的题目，在GMATPrep出来以后发现争论的双方都错了呢，呵呵。

白勇的语法中提到，ing分词做伴随状语表示动作时，主语=逻辑主语，也就是说是（Gas hydrates）possibly causing sea floor instability, and significant contributors to global warming.，这个意思很通呀~

当然google出原文了，绝对正确我也没话说，只是觉得这么考平行太小儿科了吧，凭这个判断就是秒杀题目了。

这题我做的时候比较没把握的是究竟potential是接as还是接to be，两者貌似是都可以，但又有细微的区别，不知这种区别在做题的时候可否忽略。

A,E两者的意思不大一样，A确实没有E好，就是因为那个插入的possibly causing sea floor instability，A的结构是n. being... to be... and (to be)...，两个to be中间加个插入语，虽然从结构上没错，但是对整个句子来说就显得太唐突了，而且容易有歧义（如：究竟是伴随状语还是在修饰主语？）。E就好多了，很工整。
