我觉得主要是提高阅读量,我的中文作文很一般,但是我的英文写作倒是有不少老师喜欢,无论是外教还是中国老师. 可其实我的阅读量也不大,我的学习方法是,记一个生单词时,读完所有的例句,虽然有很多都不怎么样,但其实你也可以发现很多很漂亮的句子,或是这个词有很巧妙的用法...呵呵 希望对你有帮助

My approach in the next week:

2 essays

·        Translate the essay from Chinese to English for several times. Pay attention to unknown words include nouns, adjectives, verbs, then grammars include the structure of a sentence, the tense.

·        Read the essay until I can recite it. Pay attention to the pronunciation of each word, the sense group include its tone, the stop, the rhythm of the sentence and the whole paragrah.

·        Try to spend less than 1 hour per day. Try to finish one essay every two days.

 

Slang:

·        Finish a book about slang for tofel student.

·        Listen to the mp3 for lunch rest.

·        Try to spend less than 1 hour per day.

 

Klpan ibt

Spend 6 hours on it. Try to make the biggest improvement.

 

Chance

Cultivate the habit of grasping every chance to talk to the native speaker.

the essays I mention in my plan is from the software, 新东方英文背诵文选. I take your suggestion and find this resource to form my English mindset. At the same time I subscribe online Washington Post and ask myself to watch English news everyday.

Thank you! It seems very difficult to me to change the channel from Chinese to English. Somebody told me it is about mindset. In this case, would you like to give me some suggestion?

我在阅读楼主的英文问题的时候也觉得非常难懂。

个人认为，主要问题是，楼主使用的词汇意思不确切，很多英文单词翻译成中文后意思不够确切，影响我们的理解。要解决这个问题，就要扔掉中英词典，使用英英词典，例如webster 或 collins.

还有，就是直接把中文翻译成英文，按照中文的语序，和中国人的思维习惯及语言习惯。这样老外是理解不了的。多看看friends之类的电视剧，或听听空中英语教室，都是很好的学说地道的英语的方法。当然，如果有english speaker 的朋友就更好了。
