ETS will send your GMAT score to 5 programs (not schools) which use GMAT as the admission criteria for free. Before the exam, you will be asked which programs you want the score go. You can skip this srep, but you need pay ETS if you want ETS to send your score to schools in the future, even you didn't use this service at the beginning.
BTW, you do not need to remeber the code of each program, there is a menu there, but you need know the location of the school.
