不过又想了一想，

C说的是aluminum and other metals

E说的是commodities of aluminum and other metals,

是否E所致的范围比较大-aluminum and other metals类的商品，而C所指的范围变小了-只限于aluminum and other metals 本身，所以是E?

First we must undertsand how "such as" is different from "like". To understand that, we have to get rid of how we are used to speaking everyday.  "like" draws an analogy but also at the same time an exclusion.  For example, "can you buy me some fruit LIKE apple?" , this means to buy me fruit that's NOT apple but LIKe apple.  It might sound very strange and against how we normally would use the word but technically that's how it works.  That being said, we should see why "like" should be used
